Precision Engineering for Your Smile

When a tooth is damaged or after a Root Canal, it needs a strong “helmet” to protect it. Zirconia and Laser Sintered Crowns represent the cutting edge of dental technology. Unlike traditional handmade caps, these are designed using computers (CAD/CAM) for 100% accuracy.

At Elysian Dental, we move away from “trial and error.” Our crowns are machine-milled to microscopic precision, ensuring they fit perfectly, look natural, and last for many years

Which Type Should You Choose?

  • Zirconia Crowns: The premium choice. They are 100% Metal-Free, incredibly strong, and mimic the translucency of natural teeth. Ideal for both front and back teeth.

  • Laser Sintered (DMLS) Crowns: These are high-precision Metal-Ceramic crowns. Unlike old casting methods which can have gaps, these are 3D printed (sintered) by laser for a flawless fit and superior bonding.

  • Bridges: If you are missing a tooth, we can use these strong materials to “bridge” the gap, using the support of adjacent teeth.

  • Scanning/Impression: We take a highly detailed measurement of your prepared tooth.

  • Digital Design: The crown is designed on a computer software to match your bite and alignment.

  • Milling/Sintering: A machine carves your crown out of a solid block of Zirconia or sinters the metal framework with a laser.

  • Glazing: The crown is polished and glazed to match your exact tooth shade.

  • Fixing: We bond the crown permanently to your tooth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Zirconia is metal-free and looks more natural (no black lines near the gums). Metal-ceramic has a metal core inside porcelain. Zirconia is generally stronger and more aesthetic.

Yes! Most of our Zirconia and Laser Sintered crowns come with a 5 to 15-year warranty (depending on the brand selected) against chipping or breakage.

The preparation of the tooth is done under local anesthesia, so it is painless. Fixing the crown involves no pain at all.

Not at all. We use "Monolithic Multi-Layered" Zirconia which has a natural gradient (darker at the gum, lighter at the tip) just like a real tooth.

You treat it like natural teeth but use a "Bridge Needle" or water flosser to clean the area underneath the artificial tooth. We will demonstrate this to you.
